Plateau Perspectives
is an international non-profit organization that
aims to promote conservation and sustainable developmentin the Tibetan
Plateau region of China.
We work
closely with local government, local communities and non-profit organizations as well as
with national
and international
academic institutions
to protect the headwatersof the Yangtze, Yellow and
Mekong Rivers
to promote more sustainable livelihoods in this fragile alpine environment
to enhance the provision of social services for Tibetan pastoralists
